Game of Thrones casts Angela Lansbury for Season 7

It’s no secret that HBO‘s Game of Thrones is known to cast the most talented individuals —old and young. So it should be no surprise that HBO has casted another great to its ranks, Angela Lansbury, after casting Jim Broadbent.

Lansbury is rumoured to be guest starring in two episodes of the upcoming Season 7, which will premiere next summer. HBO has yet to officially confirm this rumour, but the actress will reportedly be on set for four days.

Jim Broadbent cast in Game of Thrones Season 7

British actor Jim Broadbent has joined the cast of Game of Thrones in Season 7. Although it is unclear what role Broadbent will partake, many have speculated that since Ramsay Bolton and Walder Frey both died in Season 6, Broadbent is likely to play a villain. Perhaps he will be the Lord of an important House we have yet to encounter, who will wage war against House Stark‘s hold in the North. Or perhaps he won’t be a villain at all… Perhaps he will be in the Citadel, a fellow Maester, training Samwell Tarly. There’s also a third speculation. Broadbent could be a miracle cure creator, the same man who healed Shireen Baratheon‘s greyscale, who will now heal Jorah Mormont‘s greyscale.
